Special Way to Express Love

At school, Miss Li asks the class how they show love to their parents. Wu Binbin says, "I say 'I love you' to my mom and dad." Miss Li smiles and says, "Very good. But do you prepare any surprises for your parents?"

Wu Binbin thinks hard about what to make. He decides to bake some delicious cookies for his parents. He walks into the kitchen. He gets all the materials ready for making cookies.

Oh no! Wu Binbin forgets about the cookies in the oven. The cookies turn black. They smell bad. Wu Binbin feels very sad when he sees the burnt cookies.

Mum and dad look at the burned cookies and smile. They say, "Thank you for trying to make us happy." They sit down together and eat the burned cookies. They laugh and say how fragrant and crispy they are.
